Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to cover the northern region. The role offers a 40-hour week with overtime and a full company van, plus personal use. Applicants should have strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge and hold a full UK driving licence.

You will travel to customer sites, diagnose faults using specialist tools, and keep precise service records. Training opportunities and a competitive package are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plant engineer or mobile engineer.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Qualifications in engineering or plant maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently and manage workload with care.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites across the northern region to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and resolve issues.
• Provide updates to customers and ensure satisfaction with work.
• Maintain the company van and stock necessary tools and parts.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
