Job summary
GPS Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Facilities Maintenance Engineer to cover two sites in Huddersfield. You will perform electrical and mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
The role requires a time-served Electrician with 18th edition (BS7671), a full UK driving licence, and the ability to travel between sites on a day shift. You will liaise with staff and client representatives to maintain service continuity.
Qualifications
- Time-served Electrician with Level 3 electrical qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Experience in commercial facilities/building services maintenance.
- Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Electrical/mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance.
- Prepare CAFM tickets and documentation for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks.
- Coordinate with staff, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Maintain safe working environment and PPE compliance.
- Supervise and monitor subcontractors' activities on site.
- Adhere to KPIs and SLAs.
- Maintain CAFM data and closure of tickets.
- Operate Permit to Work per SHEQ processes or client requirements.
