Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management contractor in the UK. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across sites, performing electrical installations, upgrades and minor works, while maintaining compliance records.

Key requirements include City & Guilds/NVQ in electrical installation and 17th/18th edition wiring regulations, with inclusion to a 1 in 6 on-call rota and willingness to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or mobile maintenance environments.
• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Willingness to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Perform inspections and fault finding on electrical systems.
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades and minor works to standards.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records.
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide updates; participate in 24/7 on-call rota.

We are looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Mobile Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades, and minor works in line with safety standards
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and resolving queries
• Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota

To be successful for this Mobile Electrical Engineer role you must have:

• Experience in facilities management, or mobile maintenance environments
• Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Willingness and ability to obtain security clearance
