Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Electrical Engineer for a leading facilities management contractor in the UK. The role focuses on delivering both planned and reactive FM maintenance across client sites in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

You will perform PPMs, inspections and fault finding, while ensuring compliance documentation is up-to-date and safety standards are met. A 1 in 6 on-call rota is included.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Safe electrical installation and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, inspections and fault finding.

As the Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Mobile Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades, and minor works in line with safety standards
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and resolving queries
• Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota

To be successful for this Mobile Electrical Engineer role you must have:

• Experience in facilities management, or mobile maintenance environments
• Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Willingness and ability to obtain security clearance
