Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to deliver planned and reactive FM maintenance across multiple sites in the UK. The role combines hands-on electrical and mechanical fault-finding with adherence to safety standards and first-class service delivery.

You will work independently and as part of a team, driving on-site reliability, liaising with site contacts and management, and maintaining comprehensive work records. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Must not be colour blind – driving within the sites demands full colour vision for safety and compliance.
• Proven experience in M&E engineering, strong fault-finding and maintenance skills, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive, safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Liaise with site contacts and management to ensure smooth operations, including escorting sub-contractors whilst on-site.
