Job summary

Lancer Scott Ltd. is seeking a mobile Fabric Engineer to cover Bristol and North Somerset. You will perform reactive and remedial maintenance on various contracts, using your initiative to solve problems and source parts. You will maintain detailed write-ups, work to tight timescales, and ensure compliance with regulations.

You will liaise with our Helpdesk, use tablets for updates, and uphold the highest health and safety standards on every assignment. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification to C&G or NVQ L2/L3.
• Experience in building maintenance, especially reactive/remedial tasks.
• Good knowledge of building systems and basic trades (carpentry, plumbing, tiling, ground works).
• IT confident; used to tablets andUpdating work orders.
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services to high profile clients with high quality standards.
• Solve technical problems related to reactive maintenance; source parts and support.
• Provide detailed write-ups of works.
• Complete works within timescales and in line with regulations.
• Report and record maintenance logs and control measures.
• Use PDAs or tablets to complete tasks.
• Coordinate with Helpdesk for efficient response, solo or in a team.
• Observe health and safety and perform risk assessments for tasks.
