Job summary

Lancer Scott Holdings Ltd in Bristol/Gloucestershire is seeking a customer-focused maintenance technician to support our retail and hospitality clients with reactive and remedial tasks. You will diagnose issues, source parts, and complete works to tight timescales.

You will travel to sites in Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, use PDAs or tablets, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Qualified in your trade to C&G or NVQ L2/L3.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a building maintenance role (reactive/remedial).
• Broad knowledge of building systems related to reactive tasks (fabric, carpentry, plumbing).
• Confident using systems/tablets to record completed works.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional maintenance services to high profile clients and deliver to high quality standards.
• Solve technical problems during reactive maintenance, sourcing parts and seeking manufacturer support.
• Provide detailed write-ups of works to keep the client updated.
• Complete works within agreed timescales and comply with regulations and contract specs.
• Maintain logs, control measures and risk assessments to minimise risks.
• Utilise PDAs/tablets to record works and liaise with Helpdesk for efficient response.
• Represent the company professionally in dealings with clients and engineers.
• Provide a call out response across all contracts.
