Job summary

Lancer Scott is recruiting for a field maintenance technician to cover the South East London and surrounding areas. You will perform reactive and remedial maintenance on high-profile client sites, using your own initiative to source parts and seek technical support.

Detailed write-ups will be provided to keep clients informed, while adhering to safety and contract standards. The role offers company van, fuel card, and devices for business use, with overtime opportunities and a uniform/PPE

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification to C&G or NVQ L2/L3.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance, especially reactive/remedial work.
• Broad knowledge of building systems relevant to reactive tasks (fabric, carpentry, plumbing, tiling).
• Full UK driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive and remedial maintenance across contracts.
• Source parts and liaise with manufacturers as needed.
• Provide detailed write‑ups and maintenance logs for clients.
• Ensure work is completed on time and in line with regulations and contract specs.
• Provide call-out response across all contracts.
