Job summary

PRS is seeking a Fabric Maintenance Technician to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a mobile basis across Cheshire. The role involves working on medical estates and completing planned and reactive maintenance to buildings, with a permanent contract and a 40-hour weekday schedule.

A company van is provided. You will perform reactive repairs, planned maintenance, basic electrical, plumbing and fabric maintenance tasks, and work closely with engineers and the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Several years' prior experience in a similar role.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willing to pass DBS checks.
• Must have trade background and building/estate sector experience.
• Self-motivated with a can-do customer attitude.
• Good trade skills; basic understanding of M&E.
• Experience in fabric maintenance tasks and building works such as plastering and painting.

Responsibilities

• Complete reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
• General trade work and building repairs
• Basic Electrical/lighting tasks
• Basic plumbing tasks
• Fabric maintenance duties - plastering and painting, etc.
• Compliance checks
• Handyperson duties
• Work alongside engineers and other maintenance team.
