Job summary

Lancer Scott, based in Bristol, seeks a skilled building maintenance technician for a mobile role covering the South West London area. You will perform reactive maintenance, source parts, document works, and liaise with a Helpdesk while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Essential: trade qualification (C&G/NVQ L2/L3), 3+ years’ experience in building maintenance, and a full UK driving licence. Desirable: fire door qualification and CSCS/H&S credentials.

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification at C&G or NVQ L2/L3.
• Min 3 years’ experience in building maintenance (reactive/remedial).
• Wide knowledge of building systems: carpentry, wet trades, plumbing, tiling, groundwork.
• Current Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services to high-profile clients and deliver high quality standards.
• Diagnose and source parts or manufacturer support for reactive maintenance.
• Provide detailed work write-ups to keep clients updated.
• Complete works within timescales and regulatory requirements.
• Record maintenance logs and risk controls to minimise risks.
• Use PDAs or electronic devices to record and report works.
• Coordinate with Helpdesk for efficient response, solo or in teams.
• Observe health and safety and perform job-specific risk assessments.
• Represent the company with courteous, professional client interactions.
• Provide call-out response across all contracts.
