Job summary

Lancer Scott Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Fabric Engineer to cover the Bournemouth area across multiple contracts. You will deliver reactive and remedial maintenance on commercial buildings, using your own initiative to source parts and coordinate with the Helpdesk.

Responsibilities include detailed write-ups of work, adherence to timescales and health & safety standards, and providing excellent client service on-site with a professional, courteous approach. A valid UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant trade qualification to C&G or NVQ L2/L3.
• Minimum 3 years in building maintenance, reactive/remedial work.
• IT confident, used to updating work orders.
• Hold a current Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services to high-profile clients across contracts in Bournemouth area.
• Use initiative to source parts and coordinate with manufacturer support.
• Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out for client updates.
• Complete tasks within timescales and comply with regulations and contract specs.
• Report and record with logs and risk controls to minimise hazards.
• Use PDAs or tablets to complete works and update systems.
• Liaise with Helpdesk for efficient response, solo or in a team.
• Observe health and safety at all times, including risk assessments.
