Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking a mobile caretaker to clean and maintain communal areas in blocks of flats across Cardiff. You will monitor fire safety and report repairs, tenancy issues, and anti-social behaviour as part of daily duties.

The role requires a driving licence and the ability to work in a team. Training will be provided, and Welsh language skills are advantageous. This post is suitable for job sharing, with interviews arranged in person or virtually.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning environments.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Welsh language ability advantageous.
• Full-time permanent role; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and caretaking of communal areas in council blocks.
• Monitor fire safety issues and report repairs and tenancy issues.
• Respond to tenancy issues and anti-social behaviour reports.
• Drive to different sites across Cardiff.
