Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking passionate Electricians in Bradford to join our team. You’ll receive a £40,057.61 annual salary (37.5h/week) and £286.65 weekly standby on-call pay, plus door-to-door call-out and overtime opportunities.

A modern company van, fuel card, tools and equipment are provided, with no overnight stays. There are generous holidays (26–31 days), an enhanced sick pay scheme, and a strong pension with up to 9% employer contributions.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th edition).
• NVQ in Electro technical Services & AM2 Certification and 2391-51 Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations Level 3 or equivalent.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all electrical workstreams including Fixed wire testing (EICR) and remedials.
• Perform electrical repairs/alterations to existing fittings and fixtures.
• Rewiring partial or full properties with inspection, testing and certification.
• Carry out planned installations such as lighting and heating upgrades.
• Work in empty and occupied properties and collaborate with other trades.

Education

City & Guilds Level 3 (or recognised equivalent qualification)

City & Guilds 2382 (18th edition)
