Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking experienced electricians in the Leeds area to join our team. You will perform electrical workstreams including EICRs, repairs, rewiring, and planned installs in empty or occupied properties, with a modern van provided to complete jobs locally.

We offer a £40,057.61 annual salary based on a 37.5-hour week, standby payments, health plan, generous holidays, a strong pension scheme, and a supportive, stable employer focused on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 (or recognised equivalent qualification).
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th edition).
• NVQ in Electro technical Services AM2 Certification.
• 2391-51 Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations Level 3 (or recognised equivalent or greater qualification).

Responsibilities

• Undertake all electrical workstreams including Fixed wire testing (EICRs), remedials, electrical repairs & alterations to fittings and fixtures, rewiring partial or full properties, including inspection and testing and the provision of certification and reporting on the condition of electrical components and equipment, planned installs such as lighting upgrades and heating upgrades.
• Work with other trades, administrators and suppliers; be the face of Yorkshire Housing to tenants; communicate in a respectful, warm and professional manner.
