Job summary

Yorkshire Housing in Doncaster is seeking qualified Electricians to join our team. You will perform fixed wire testing (EICR), remedials, and installations across domestic properties, with a fully equipped company van and tools provided.

You’ll travel locally and be home every evening, contributing to safe, well-maintained homes for tenants. The role requires City & Guilds Level 3, City & Guilds 2382, NVQ in Electro technical Services with AM2, and 2391-51, plus a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• You’ll have City & Guilds Level 3, 2382 (18th edition) and NVQ in Electro technical Services.
• AM2 Certification and 2391-51 inspection/testing qualification are required.
• Valid UK driving licence and domestic electrical expertise are essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake fixed wire testing (EICRs), remedials, and electrical repairs on domestic properties.
• Perform rewiring and alterations, with certification and reporting on electrical components.
• Work independently and as part of a team, travelling locally around Yorkshire.
• Maintain professional communication with tenants, administrators, and suppliers.
