Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking skilled Electricians to join their team in Castleford. The role offers a £40,057.61 annual salary based on a 37.5-hour week, with an on‑call rota and additional overtime opportunities.

A modern van, fuel card, tools and equipment are provided, along with health benefits and a generous holiday allowance. You’ll perform fixed wire testing (EICRs), remedials and electrical upgrades across occupied and empty properties, travelling around Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Must hold relevant electrical qualifications as listed.
• Domestic electrical experience in housing settings is preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.
• Mobile role with travel around Yorkshire and home location-based work allocations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical workstreams including Fixed wire testing (EICRs), remedials, repairs and alterations.
• Provide certification and reporting on electrical components and systems.
• Collaborate with other trades, administrators and suppliers to deliver safe, compliant electrical installations.

Education

City & Guilds Level 3 (or recognised equivalent)

City & Guilds 2382 (18th edition)

NVQ in Electro technical Services & AM2 Certification
