Yorkshire Housing is seeking an Electrician for the Homes department across Yorkshire. The role covers fixed wire testing, EICRs, remediations, rewires, and lighting/heating upgrades in both empty and occupied homes.

It is a mobile, on-call role with local allocations and no overnight stays. Applicants must have domestic electrical experience, City & Guilds qualifications (18th edition), an AM2 NVQ, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualificações

• Domestic electrical experience required.
• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification required.
• 2382 (18th edition) qualification required.
• NVQ AM2 certification required.
• 2391-51 or higher qualification required.

Responsabilidades

• Fixed wire testing and EICR inspections with certification and reporting on electrical condition.
• Remedial work following testing.
• Electrical repairs and alterations to fittings and fixtures.
• Partial or full rewiring including inspection and testing.
• Planned lighting and heating upgrades.
• Work in both empty and occupied properties.
• Solve smaller issues on site using own initiative.
• Act as a key player in a wider team.
• Work closely with other trades, administrators and suppliers.
• Represent Yorkshire Housing to tenants with professional communication.

NVQ in Electrotechnical Services AM2 certification
