Job summary

EQUANS are recruiting for a Mobile Electrician based in Manchester. This permanent full-time role is 37 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

The technician will perform a range of electrical tasks, ensure safety and quality, and complete required certifications on site. The ideal candidate will hold 18th edition BS7671, a Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services, and relevant inspection/testing knowledge.

Qualifications

• 18th edition BS7671:2018 compliance is required.
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services – Electrical Installation.
• Testing and inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical tasks to a high standard as instructed.
• Replace consumer units and final sub-circuit wiring.
• Fault finding and remedial works in line with regulations.
• Install extractor fans, light fittings and circuit components.
• Complete relevant certifications (EICR, EIC, Minor works).
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure a tidy work area.

To assist the Team in producing a quality product meeting the requirements of the contract and in a safe manner.
