Job summary

Equans is recruiting a Lifecycle Technician based in Blackburn to support maintenance and lifecycle projects across Lancashire schools. You will perform joinery repairs, minor fabric upgrades, and furniture installations while coordinating with the technical team to minimise disruption to school timetables.

You will join a team delivering lifecycle replacement programmes, asset condition assessments, and surveys, with opportunities for training and professional development in a broad FM

Qualifications

• Experience in FM maintenance environments, ideally schools.
• Capability in general building maintenance and decoration.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and joinery repairs on school sites.
• Repair and upgrade internal and external building fabric.
• Remove and install furniture as required.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance tasks when required.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and use PPE per guidelines.
• Maintain records and assist lifecycle replacement programmes.

This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week.
