Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an Electrician for permanent work in Exeter. The role involves installing on client-site infrastructure, conducting testing and inspections, fault finding and planned maintenance across multiple sites.

The candidate should hold 18th Edition, 2391, NVQ3 and JIB Gold Card, with a strong health and safety focus and a Full UK driving licence. Excellent training and development opportunities are offered.

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• JIB Gold Card.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and installation methods.
• Proven experience working as an Electrician.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated approach with a flexible attitude towards working environments.
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality.

Responsibilities

TXM Recruit are currently working with a leading provider of equipment and site services who are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team in Exeter.

The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out electrical installations on client-site infrastructure in line with BS7671.
• Completing inspection and compliance testing on new and existing electrical systems.
• Carrying out fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance on LV electrical systems.
• Working across a range of client sites, both independently and as part of a wider team.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant electrical regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship while meeting customer expectations.
• Supporting colleagues and other trades where required.

About You

The successful Electrician will have:
