Job summary

A M Hardy Electrical Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our expanding team in Hull, East Yorkshire. The role focuses on domestic electrical work with some commercial contracts and maintenance, carrying out EICR testing in private and social housing to ensure safety and compliance.

The position offers a fully equipped van, fuel card, company phone and email, 28–35 days of holiday, and overtime/bonus opportunities. Candidates must be fully qualified and hold a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with City & Guilds Level 3 and NVQ Level 3.
• C&G 2391 or similar testing qualification.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out testing, fault-finding and remedial electrical work
• Replacing faulty wiring, controls, sockets and electrical components
• Upgrading domestic smoke alarm systems
• Completing site-specific health and safety risk assessments
• Identifying and reporting unsafe or non-compliant installations
• Updating job tickets and certification using a PDA system
• Working closely with other trades, planners and residents

Electrician

Location: Hull, East Yorkshire

Salary: £20 an hour

A M Hardy Electrical Ltd is currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our growing team.

We're looking for a qualified Electrician to complete a varied role including EICR testing in private and social housing. And Electrical works across domestic and commercial Installations.
You'll work diligently ensuring every installation is safe, compliant and completed to a high standard.

The role will primarily involve domestic electrical work, with occasional commercial contracts and maintenance tasks. With most of the work in the local area, prior experience in this field is highly desirable.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out testing, fault-finding and remedial electrical work

• Replacing faulty wiring, controls, sockets and electrical components
