Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an Electrician for permanent work in Exeter. The role involves installing on client-site infrastructure, conducting testing and inspections, fault finding and planned maintenance across multiple sites.

The candidate should hold 18th Edition, 2391, NVQ3 and JIB Gold Card, with a strong health and safety focus and a Full UK driving licence. Excellent training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
JIB Gold Card.
Strong understanding of electrical principles and installation methods.
Proven experience working as an Electrician.
Full UK manual driving licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated approach with a flexible attitude towards working environments.
Strong focus on health, safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Carrying out electrical installations on client-site infrastructure in line with BS7671.
Completing inspection and compliance testing on new and existing electrical systems.
Carrying out fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance on LV electrical systems.
Working across a range of client sites, both independently and as part of a wider team.
Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant electrical regulations.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship while meeting customer expectations.
Supporting colleagues and other trades where required.
