Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is recruiting a Mobile Electrical Technician to service train stations across London, Metro, Southeast London, and Kent, with occasional work in Sussex. Youll work on a company van, require a UK Driving Licence and PTS if needed. 40 hours weekly, with a 1-in-6 call-out rota.

The role emphasizes PPM tasks, reactive works, and high safety standards. The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds qualifications, 18th Edition, and rail/transport maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship preferred but not essential.
• City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent required.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition required.
• City and Guilds 2391 desirable.
• PTS desirable if not already held.
• IOSH Working/Managing Safely desirable.
• PTW; RAMS and Safe System of Work knowledge desirable.
• L8 Training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work aligns with method statements, risk assessments, and safety legislation.
• Deliver PPM and reactive tasks within contractual SLAs.
• Maintain high standards across premises through proactive service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and representatives through excellent service.
• Keep site documentation up to date for audits.
• Utilise CAFM system to provide accurate service information.
• Demonstrate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe work delivery.
• Carry out Electrical Maintenance and Installation work per industry standards.

About the Role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? NG Bailey Facilities Services is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Electrical Technician to join our prestigious SETL - South East Trains Limited Railway Contract. You'll be at the forefront of electrical maintenance across train stations in the London, Metro, Southeast London, and Kent areas, with occasional work in Sussex.

As a key member of our team, you'll enjoy the freedom of a company van and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. A UK Driving License is essential, and you'll need to pass a medical and obtain a PTS (Personal Track Safety) sentinel card if you don't already have one. This is a condition of employment.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure all work aligns with method statements, risk assessments, and safety legislation.
• Deliver exceptional service by completing PPM tasks and reactive works within contractual Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain high standards across all premises through proactive service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and their representatives through outstanding customer service.
• Keep site documentation up to date for regular audits.
• Utilize the client's CAFM system to provide accurate service information.
• Demonstrate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe work delivery.
• Carry out Electrical Maintenance and Installation work in accordance with industry standards.

Working Hours

Your working hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a call-out rota of 1 in 6 weeks.
