Job summary
Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting a mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a critical healthcare contract across Surrey and Sussex. You will travel between sites including ambulance stations, make-ready centres and community outposts, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to keep facilities safe and compliant.
This role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 schedule, a 40-hour week, an on-call rota of 1 in 4, and a long-term contract with potential to extend.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Previous experience within Facilities Management.
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- No more than 6 points on licence.
- Able to pass a Standard DBS check.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding.
- Repairing and replacing lighting, power sockets, distribution boards and power circuits.
- Completing emergency lighting tests and electrical PPMs.
- Undertaking minor electrical installations and remedial works.
- Supporting with general building fabric and minor plumbing repairs when required.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
