Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to service client sites across Birmingham and the Midlands. The role focuses on planned preventative maintenance, reactive fault finding and basic installations within a dynamic facilities team.

You will hold a Level 3 electrical qualification with 18th Edition, and have experience with building services, BMS and fire alarm systems. A driving licence and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 electrical qualification required or recognised equivalent.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations is essential.
• Knowledge of Building Services – BMS and Fire Alarm is preferable.
• Maintenance and cleaning of FCUs; water testing (L8) and fire alarm testing.
• Experience with PPMS/CAFM systems; strong facilities management background.
• FM industry experience desirable; valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding across client sites.
• Perform repairs, installations and basic works within contract scope.
• Maintain electrical assets, ensure compliance and safe operation.
• Develop good client relationships and teamwork to deliver high service levels.
• Assist in building maintenance activities across Birmingham and the Midlands.

  Hours – Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week 08:00 - 17:00.

  We are currently seeking a professional Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The role is focused on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, installations at our prestigious client sites across Birmingham & the Midlands region.

  As an electrically qualified Mobile Maintenance Engineer, the role will be orientated around electrical maintenance works with a requirement for flexibility and willingness to undertake other basic works which fall within the scope of the contract. This could be a variety of jobs relating to maintaining, repairing, and installing assets around the site whether it be a specific piece of equipment, works to a building or the site infrastructure.

  The Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers and colleagues with interaction on a professional level being a key requirement for this position.

  Skills & Experience:

  • Level 3 qualification electrical Engineering or similar recognised qualification
  • 18 th Edition.
  • Knowledge of Building Services – BMS, Fire Alarm preferable
  • Maintenance and Cleaning of FCU’s
  • Water Testing (L8), Fire Alarm testing and general fabric, handyperson tasks
  • Working on and managing PPMS from CAFM system
  • Worked within the FM industry
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license
