Job summary
Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a critical healthcare contract across Surrey and Sussex. The role covers ambulance stations, make-ready centres and community outpost locations, requiring travel between sites.
You will carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and minor installations, ensuring safety and compliance across a multi-site portfolio. A Level 3 electrical installation qualification and 18th edition are essential.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience within Facilities Management
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No driving ban within the last 5 years
- Able to pass a Standard DBS check
Responsibilities
- Carrying out reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Repairing and replacing lighting, power sockets, distribution boards and power circuits
- Completing emergency lighting tests and electrical PPMs
- Undertaking minor electrical installations and remedial works
- Supporting with general building fabric and minor plumbing repairs when required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next contract role?
We are recruiting for a mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a critical healthcare contract across Surrey and Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy facilities management team, maintaining a portfolio of essential sites including ambulance stations, make-ready centres and community outpost locations.
Working across multiple sites, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
- Carrying out reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Repairing and replacing lighting, power sockets, distribution boards and power circuits
- Completing emergency lighting tests and electrical PPMs
- Undertaking minor electrical installations and remedial works
- Supporting with general building fabric and minor plumbing repairs when required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- 40-hour working week
- On-call rota of 1 week in every 4
