Job summary

Vertex Services Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support building infrastructure across multiple commercial sites in the M3/M4 corridor. Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM with a £44,000 basic salary and a company vehicle.

You will work under the Contract Manager within the engineering maintenance team, performing all-round electrical and building services duties, including emergency lighting, PPM tasks, and plant maintenance, while adhering to health and safety

Responsibilities

• Emergency lighting
• Issue relevant site permits as part of the Safe System of Work
• Completion of PPM and reactive tasks for their respective shift team
• Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manner and completion of the internal Materials Request Form (MRF1)
• Mechanical maintenance
• AHUs
• FCUs
• Mechanical plant
• including critical plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works, special task requests, standard of housekeeping
• Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the engineering maintenance team. You will provide all - round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. You will have a detailed understanding of all new of current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/Building Codes of practice.

You will be required to look after a number of commercial site in M3/M4 Corridor and surrounding areas.
