Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance on a commercial contract across Bristol and Cardiff. The role requires City & Guilds electrical qualifications and a proven track record in building maintenance.

The position offers a basic salary up to £42,000, Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30, call-out allowances, a van and fuel card, pension, and clear career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2/3.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high quality standards.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial buildings across Bristol & Cardiff.
• Install and maintain lighting, emergency lighting and ballast works.
• Monitor and manage BMS system components and log books.
• Identify faults and report/escalate issues to site management.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and liaise with client staff.

Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings – Bristol & Cardiff – Up to £42,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a commercial contract across Bristol and Cardiff. The successful candidate will have an understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This engineer will be working across a nice local patch in Bristol and Cardiff. This position would be ideal for an Electrical Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company are offering a salary of up to £42,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Package & working hours

• A basic salary of up to £42,000

• Call out 1 in 4 - £120 standby allowance

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
