JOB TITLE:

Mobile Electrical Engineer

LOCATION:

Sites in Forest Hill & West End

SHIFT PATTERN:

Monday to Friday, 8-5

SALARY:

£46,000 + Van

This job requires DBS clearance.

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Electrically biased maintenance engineer, undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM), installations, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment and building fabric.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the onsite supervisor, including fault finding, testing, repair, and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment.
2. Perform various non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks.
3. Work on cooling towers.
4. Update completed PPM tasks on the site computerised maintenance system.
5. Carry out small electrical installation work.
6. Ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to at all times.
7. Follow company and site health & safety procedures.
8. Maintain accurate site records and documentation for all site works.
9. Work from platforms and ladders safely.
10. Maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable condition.
11. Proactively support the success of the contract with a positive approach.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installation / Maintenance or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE certification.
• Time served apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of building services engineering.
• Customer service skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work requirements, willing to accept change.
