Job summary

Lancer Scott is seeking a mobile Electrical Engineer to cover South West London postcodes, carrying out reactive repairs, planned maintenance and minor project works across domestic, industrial and commercial installations. You will respond to service calls, maintain safe working practices and ensure documentation is kept up to date.

You’ll need City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent, 18th Edition, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Approved City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification.
• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE regulations.
• Good organisational skills and a positive outlook.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with flexible work requirements.
• Capable of using PDA to access CAFM system and emails.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements and all documentation per health and safety policy.
• Comply with client working processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of works and recommendations.
• Carry out planned and reactive repairs to SLA attendance and completion deadlines.
• Good building services knowledge and able to undertake multi-skilled tasks.
• Carry out minor new works and project installations.
• Proactive and good communicator that is customer focused.
• Adhere to Lancer Scott FM procedures and systems maintaining clear and legible records.
• Able to undertake works on domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.
• Able to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the callout rota.

What will be my core responsibilities?

Working as a mobile Electrical Engineer to cover South West London postcodes, SW , carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance, and minor project works

• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements etc. and all relevant documentation is adhered to in accordance with company health and safety policy.
• Comply with specific client working processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of works done and any further works or recommendations required.
• Carry out Planned and reactive repairs as required to SLA attendance and completion deadlines.
• Good building services knowledge and able to undertake additional multi skilled tasks.
• Carry out minor new works and project installations.
• Proactive and good communicator that is customer focused.
• Adhere to Lancer Scott FM procedures and systems maintaining clear and legible records.
• Able to undertake works on domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.
• Able to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the callout rota.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

You’ll need to have:

• Approved City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification
• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE regulations

• Good interpersonal & communicating skills with a flexible approach to work requirements.
• Capable of using PDA to utilise company CAFM system and emails

Desirable:

• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection qualified
• Gold CSCS Card Holder
