Job summary

Lancer Scott is seeking a mobile Electrical Engineer to cover South West London postcodes, SW, performing reactive repairs, maintenance and minor project works across domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.

You will ensure safe work systems, comply with client processes, maintain records, and carry out planned and reactive repairs to SLA deadlines. Be proactive, customer‑focused and adaptable to out‑of‑hours work.

Qualifications

• Qualified as an electrician with City & Guilds or Building Services equivalent.
• 18th Edition IEE regulations qualification.
• Good organisational skills and a positive outlook.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility.
• Capable of using PDA to utilise CAFM system and emails.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification.
• Gold CSCS Card Holder.
• Site Health & Safety Training.
• First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments and method statements.
• Comply with client working processes and procedures.
• Maintain records of works and any follow-on works or recommendations.
• Carry out planned and reactive repairs to SLA attendance and deadlines.
• Good building services knowledge and ability to perform multifaceted tasks.
• Carry out minor new works and project installations.
• Be proactive and customer‑focused in communications.
• Adhere to FM procedures and keep clear records in CAFM systems.
• Work on domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.
• Be available for out‑of‑hours work and callouts.

Job Description

What will be my core responsibilities?

Working as a mobile Electrical Engineer to cover South West London postcodes, SW, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance, and minor project works

• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements etc. and all relevant documentation is adhered to in accordance with company health and safety policy.
• Comply with specific client working processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of works done and any further works or recommendations required.
• Carry out Planned and reactive repairs as required to SLA attendance and completion deadlines.
• Good building services knowledge and able to undertake additional multi skilled tasks.
• Carry out minor new works and project installations.
• Proactive and good communicator that is customer focused.
• Adhere to Lancer Scott FM procedures and systems maintaining clear and legible records.
• Able to undertake works on domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.
• Able to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the callout rota.

Qualifications

You’ll need to have:

• Approved City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification
• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE regulations
• Good organisational skills and have a positive outlook.
• Good interpersonal & communicating skills with a flexible approach to work requirements.
• Capable of using PDA to utilise company CAFM system and emails
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection qualified
• Gold CSCS Card Holder
