Job summary

Lancer Scott Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to service South West London postcodes, handling reactive repairs, maintenance and minor project works across domestic, industrial and commercial installations.

You will work on site, adhere to safety policies, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with clients to ensure high service standards. A City & Guilds electrician qualification and 18th edition compliance are required, with CSCS and First Aid desirable.

Qualifications

• Approved City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification.
• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE regulations and able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• First Aid training and CSCS card desirable; able to work safely on various sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments and method statements and maintain documentation.
• Comply with client processes and procedures and maintain accurate records of works.
• Carry out planned and reactive repairs to SLA deadlines and undertake minor new works.
• Perform multi-skilled tasks and demonstrate strong building services knowledge.
• Communicate clearly with customers and adhere to FM procedures and CAFM records.
• Work on domestic, industrial and commercial installations and participate in callouts as needed.

What will be my core responsibilities?

Working as a mobile Electrical Engineer to cover South West London postcodes, SW , carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance, and minor project works

• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements etc. and all relevant documentation is adhered to in accordance with company health and safety policy.
• Comply with specific client working processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of works done and any further works or recommendations required.
• Carry out Planned and reactive repairs as required to SLA attendance and completion deadlines.
• Good building services knowledge and able to undertake additional multi skilled tasks.
• Carry out minor new works and project installations.
• Proactive and good communicator that is customer focused.
• Adhere to Lancer Scott FM procedures and systems maintaining clear and legible records.
• Able to undertake works on domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.
• Able to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the callout rota.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

You’ll need to have:

• Approved City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification
• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE regulations
• Good organisational skills and have a positive outlook.
• Good interpersonal & communicating skills with a flexible approach to work requirements.
• Capable of using PDA to utilise company CAFM system and emails

Desirable:

• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection qualified
• Gold CSCS Card Holder
