Job summary

Lancer Scott FM is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover London postcodes, BN, RH and TN, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance and minor project works. You will ensure safety documentation is followed and maintain clear records of all works.

The role requires multi-skilled capabilities, strong communication, and flexibility to work out of hours and participate in the callout rota. A company van, fuel card, and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification.
• Adept with 18th Edition IEE regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive repairs and maintenance across London postcodes, BN, RH and TN.
• Adhere to safe systems of work, risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain accurate records of works and recommendations.
• Carry out planned and reactive repairs to SLA timelines.
• Undertake minor new works and project installations.
• Be proactive, customer-focused and able to communicate clearly.
• Follow FM procedures and use CAFM systems and email effectively.
• Work across domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.
• Occasional out-of-hours work and callout participation.

Job Description

What will be my core responsibilities?

Working as a mobile Electrical Engineer covering London postcodes, BN, RH and TN carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance, and minor project works

• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements etc. and all relevant documentation is adhered to in accordance with company health and safety policy.


• Comply with specific client working processes and procedures.


• Maintain accurate records of works done and any further works or recommendations required.


• Carry out Planned and reactive repairs as required to SLA attendance and completion deadlines.


• Good building services knowledge and able to undertake additional multi skilled tasks.


• Carry out minor new works and project installations.


• Proactive and good communicator that is customer focused.


• Adhere to Lancer Scott FM procedures and systems maintaining clear and legible records.


• Able to undertake works on domestic, industrial, and commercial installations.


• Able to work out of hours from time to time and participate in the callout rota.

Qualifications

You’ll need to have:

• Approved City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification


• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE regulations


• Good organisational skills and have a positive outlook.


• Good interpersonal & communicating skills with a flexible approach to work requirements.


• Capable of using PDA to utilise company CAFM system and emails


• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection qualified


• Gold CSCS Card Holder


• Site Health & Safety Training


• First Aid training
