Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a prominent facility management business in the London area. The role covers planned and reactive electrical maintenance for a retail/commercial environment, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates will hold City & Guilds electrical installation/maintenance qualifications, be 18th Edition IEE certified, and have a background in similar settings. The position is permanent, requiring site-based work across Greater London.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail/Commercial maintenance environments.
• Relevant electrical installation/maintenance qualifications.
• 18th Edition IEE compliant and able to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance and minor building works as required.
• Update and close completed tasks on the PDA CMMS system.
• Ensure workmanship standards and support subcontractors as needed.

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with an industry leading facility management business, who are currenly looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join them on a permanent business across the wider area of London.

Key Requirements:

• Worked or currently working in a similar Retail/Commercial maintenance environment.
• City & Guilds 236/0 & 2330 Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent
• 18th Edition IEE

Key Responsibilities:

• To carry out planned and reactive maintenance, as instructed by the Site supervisor & Contract Manager. Including, but not limited to full electrical & mechanical PPM and reactive works, minor building repairs, plumbing works including drainage and other general duties in support of the client’s requirements.
• To close/update completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the site PDA computerised maintenance system
• Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained in order to maximise the operation, effectiveness and reliability of the building and associated systems
• To assist specialist subcontractors’ requirements both for PPM and reactive works
• To ensure all site procedures are adhered to in all aspects
