Cambridgeshire County Council is recruiting for an EYFS role with a mobile post and hybrid working pattern, including home work, Sunley House in Papworth Everard, and travel to early years providers across Cambridgeshire. A car and driving licence are required. Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 24 November 2026.

The role focuses on improving quality in Early Years/Childcare settings, delivering EYFS training, and supporting settings to raise outcomes and inclusive practice, including SEND.

Competenze

• The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification in early years.
• Minimum of five years' direct work in childcare practice.
• At least two years post-qualification management level experience.

Mansioni

• Quality improve and support identified Early Years/Childcare settings to ensure high quality provision.
• Deliver training and advice on EYFS, promoting equalities, inclusion and safeguarding.
• Provide advice and support to settings across EYFS to raise children's outcomes and enthusiasm for play and learning.
• Support development of settings to increase capacity for inclusive education including SEND.
