Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Relief Officer to maintain a safe, welcoming environment across court and tribunal sites in Swansea and surrounding areas. You will oversee access control, monitor activity, and respond to incidents, delivering professional security and customer service across multiple locations.

The role is full-time, daytime with no night shifts, requiring flexibility to cover adjacent sites. A valid SIA licence, right to work in the UK, and a driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass enhanced DBS and BS7858 clearance.
• SIA licence held and relevant security experience demonstrated.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage access to multiple sites and follow security procedures.
• Operate CCTV, x-ray machines and handheld metal detectors.
• Conduct searches and patrol public/restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and security concerns promptly.
• Record and report incidents accurately; support safe movement of people.
