Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Relief Officer to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across court and tribunal sites. You will manage access control, monitor activity, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service across a defined multi-site radius.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK, a valid SIA licence, and be able to pass BS7858 clearance. A driving licence and own vehicle are required; DBS checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass an enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance.
• A valid SIA Licence and relevant security experience.
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good understanding of security procedures and health & safety practices.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access control across multiple sites within a defined radius.
• Monitor activity and respond to incidents to maintain safety.
• Provide a welcoming, professional security presence and excellent customer service.
• Co-ordinate cover and shift patterns across sites as required.
