Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Relief Officer to cover Lancaster, Preston, Blackpool and surrounding sites. You will oversee access control, monitor activity and respond to incidents to ensure a safe, welcoming environment across a group of court and tribunal sites.

The role is daytime, 40 hours per week, across sites within a defined radius. A valid SIA licence, enhanced DBS/BS7858 clearance and a full UK driving licence are required, along with strong communication and customer service

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence and have security experience.
• Enhanced DBS and BS7858 clearance required.
• Right to work in the UK with no visa restrictions.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Control access to buildings and follow security procedures at all times.
• Operate security equipment including CCTV and handheld detectors.
• Conduct searches in line with site procedures.
• Patrol areas and respond to alarms and incidents promptly.
• Record and report security incidents accurately.
