Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Casual Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment across a range of court and tribunal buildings within a defined area. You will manage access control, monitor activity, and respond to incidents while treating visitors and staff with professionalism.

The role is multi-site with shifts varying by site requirements, primarily Monday to Friday during court hours. A valid SIA licence, right to work in the UK, and a driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, welcoming and customer-focused service to court users.
• Control access to buildings and follow security procedures.
• Operate security equipment (CCTV, screening) and conduct searches as per procedures.
• Monitor areas, respond to alarms and incidents, and document activities.
• Support safe movement of people and maintain high professionalism.
