OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Casual Security Officer to support security across court and tribunal buildings around Aberdeen. You will manage access control, monitor CCTV and respond to incidents, working across multiple sites with varied shift patterns.

Ideal candidates will hold an SIA licence, be able to pass DBS/BS7858 clearance, and have a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Strong communication, reliability and health & safety awareness are essential.

Qualificações

• DBS and BS7858 security clearance is required.
• Must hold a valid SIA licence and have security experience.
• Right to work in the UK and pass an enhanced DBS.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and detail‑oriented approach.
• Knowledge of security procedures and health & safety principles.
• Ability to travel between sites within a defined area.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a professional, welcoming service to court users.
• Control access to buildings and follow security procedures.
• Operate CCTV and security screening equipment.
• Conduct bag searches and entry checks.
• Monitor areas and communicate with control points.
• Patrol court buildings and satellite locations as required.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and security concerns promptly.
• Record and report incidents and activities accurately.
• Support safe movement of people within the building.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and compliance.
