Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Mobile Cook to join our team in Nantwich, CW5 7DY, to support school catering operations across Cheshire and Shrewsbury and ensure the delivery of high-quality meals and service.

As a Mobile Cook, you will provide vital support across multiple sites, prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for pupils, maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety, and assist with stock control and documentation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery preferred.
• Experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
• Ability to work independently across sites and adapt quickly.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for producing high-quality food.

Responsibilities

• Supporting catering operations across schools throughout Cheshire and Shrewsbury.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving nutritious meals for pupils.
• Assisting with menu delivery and food preparation.
• Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety.
• Supporting kitchen teams during periods of absence or increased demand.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing required food safety documentation.
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and food ordering.
• Ensuring kitchens remain clean, safe, and compliant with company procedures.
• Building positive relationships with school staff, pupils, and catering colleagues.

Job Description

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Mobile Cook to join our team in Nantwich,
CW5 7DY. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and flexible catering
professional to support school catering operations across Cheshire and Shrewsbury,
helping to ensure the delivery of high-quality meals and excellent service.
As a Mobile Cook, you will provide vital support across multiple school sites,
stepping in where required to help maintain smooth kitchen operations and high
standards of food provision.

Key responsibilities include:

Qualifications
