Job summary

The Education Authority is hiring a Cleaning Supervisor for part-time hours (20 per week) based in the Ballymena area. You will supervise a mobile cleaning team, ensuring standards, safety and efficient service delivery.

You will conduct inductions, oversee training, manage supplies, and liaise with site managers. The role requires at least two years of cleaning experience, strong organisation, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining EA standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of cleaning experience outside the home environment.
• Ability to plan, supervise and train cleaning staff.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work NI Order 1978 and COSHH where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and control cleaning staff to meet EA standards.
• Induct and train staff; provide refresher training as needed.
• Liaise with building manager on day-to-day issues.
• Investigate complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain stock and equipment records; ensure safe use and storage.
