Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is hiring a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning teams across Selby and surrounding areas. You will be paid from the moment you leave home, receive a work vehicle and smartphone, and supervise daily cleaning and caretaking tasks.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, with shifts primarily in the evenings (approx. 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM) and some mornings. Overtime is regularly available, and start/finish times are flexible to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Evidence of cleaning experience.
• Evidence of following safe chemical practices.
• Ability to work alone or in a small team to ensure all tasks are completed.

The Role

We are hiring Mobile Cleaning Supervisor for Selby & Surrounding Areas.

You will be provided with a work vehicle, a smart phone and be paid from the moment you leave your house, to the moment you return. You will pick up the cleaning and caretaking duties alongside supervising your team.

A UK driving licence is require for the role.

The weekly working hours total 37, with shifts split between mornings and evenings. Regular overtime is available.

The majority of hours are worked in the evening, typically starting around 3:00 PM and finishing by 9:30 PM. Morning shifts are more variable and depend on the needs of the service, usually falling between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM.

There is flexibility with start and finish times to accommodate operational requirements.
