Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable Mobile Cleaner to work across multiple locations in Glasgow and surrounding areas. This permanent, part-time role (20 hours per week) involves cleaning offices and common areas, hoovering, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and supporting cover for holidays and sickness.

You will work with teams on sites, report issues to your supervisor, and maintain high standards of health and safety. A proactive attitude and good attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in office or facilities environments.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Reliable timekeeping and ability to follow schedules.
• Clear communication with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
• Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Disinfecting all high touch points
• Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
• Must be hardworking and with good attendance, work to routine schedules and to be able to proactively find tasks

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM is looking for hardworking and proactive cleaner to join our team in Glasgow.

You will be covering range of premises and cover holiday and sickness cover. Duties will involve cleaning of office areas and includes hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, kitchen, and toilet cleaning, external work of litter picking and waste removal, common areas, corridors and basements. You will be asked to work along Teams on sites and on occasions liaise with Customers. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner. You must have level of flexibility, good timekeeping and work ethic. Work will include morning and evening cleaning and occasional weekend.
