Job summary

ABM in Glasgow is seeking a Hygiene/Facility operative to perform street cleaning tasks including chewing gum and graffiti removal, pressure washing, litter sweeps, and detailed work on bollards and bins. You will follow health and safety policies and report any equipment or training needs to your supervisor.

The role requires strong timekeeping, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

LOCATION: Glasgow G1 3JN

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 days in 7, 42 hours per week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Chewing Gum removal. Graffiti removal. Pressure Washing.
• Litter pick and sweep of designated streets within Glasgow City Centre.
• Detail work i.e. bollards, barriers, bins.
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
