Job summary

ABM in Glasgow is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of a busy shopping centre's communal and staff areas, including desks, toilets, and floors. You will follow health and safety guidelines, use PPE, and work both independently and as part of a team on a zero-hours schedule, Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces.
• Cleaning customer toilets
• Scrubber drying, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Disinfecting high touch points
• Detail work such as skirtings and sills
• Follow group and company policies and procedures
• Report deficiencies in systems or equipment to prevent service disruption or health and safety risk
• Use PPE correctly and report training needs to line manager

LOCATION: Princes Square, Glasgow

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Sunday, Zero hours per week

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Your duties will involve cleaning of communal and staff areas of shopping centre and includes hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, office and welfare facilities and toilet cleaning. You will empty waste and top up consumables. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per specification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
• Cleaning customer toilets
• Scrubber drying, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Disinfecting all high touch points
• Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.
