Role Responsibilities:

  • Organising collections from clients’ sites and delivering to waste transfer sites for disposal.
  • Maintaining packing materials on site.
  • Assisting with quotations for customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Following health & safety policies and procedures on-site and at disposal sites.
  • Assessing, segregating, labelling, and packing waste with proper documentation.
  • Managing hazardous waste lists and documentation to ensure legal compliance.
  • Loading waste onto transport vehicles safely and driving company vehicles when needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Level in Chemistry/Science or similar qualification.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste management.
  • Ability to assess safety and environmental impact of waste processing.
  • Experience with health and safety legislation related to the industry.
  • Full driving license; experience driving a 3.5t van is preferred.
  • Good rapport-building skills with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to learn new skills.
