About The R&D Team

Located within the technical division, The R&D Team formulates products from concept to factory, ensuring all testing and regulatory requirements are met.

Chemist Role

Reporting to the Senior Chemist or Technical Manager, the Chemist should have a degree or equivalent and at least three years' relevant experience. Responsibilities include managing product development from concept to completion, delegating tasks to technicians, and ensuring compliance with GMP and CoSHH policies.

• Follow SOPs and WINs
• Maintain laboratory hygiene and safety standards
• Collaborate on product briefs and communicate with customer contacts
• Organize testing and record-keeping
• Stay updated on raw materials, formulation trends, and regulations
• Support product scale-up, pilot batches, and tech transfer projects
• Train and develop team members
• Communicate effectively across teams and represent the technical team in presentations
• Ensure health and safety compliance and promote a positive safety culture
• Perform additional duties as required
