Job summary

Vertas Group is hiring a Caretaker to cover sites around Rushcliffe and West Bridgford. The role is 30 hours per week, 06:00–09:00 and 15:00–18:00, 52 weeks a year, supporting a range of facilities services across multiple sites.

You will be responsible for opening/closing sites, waste management, porterage, and general upkeep. You should have strong customer service, be a team player, and capable of independent work with attention to safety.

About the Role:

Based around Rushcliffe and West Bridgford you will be working 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 09:00am and 03:00pm to 06:00pm, 52 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in providing high quality caretaking services across multiple sites, ensuring buildings remain safe, secure, clean and well maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening and securing sites as required
• Travelling between locations to provide caretaking support
• Waste management
• Porterage
• Light decorating
• Maintenance work
• Site inspections and health and safety checks
• Supporting contractors on site
• Reporting maintenance issues and defects
• General caretaking duties
• Cleaning
