Job summary

Vertas Group is seeking a Mobile Caretaker to support Serlby Academy and provide mobile cover across the Harworth area. The role involves early morning duties from 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM, 15 hours per week, under a 52-week contract.

You will help with basic maintenance, health and safety records, and secure premises, contributing to a safe, well-run site. We value strong customer service, a team-first approach and the ability to respond to changing needs across the group.

• Opening and securing the premises as required.

About the Role:

Serlby Academy (DN118EF) plus mobile cover throughout the Harworth area. Hours: 15 hours per week. Contract: 52-week contract (Year-round). Shift Pattern: 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM. (Perfect for early risers!).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out day to day maintenance and minor repairs.
• Making sure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
• Carrying out and recording basic checks and maintaining Health and Safety records.
• Monitoring site stocks and undertaking cleaning duties.
• Demonstrating Health and Safety awareness and having a willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety, all training will be provided.
• Opening and securing the premises as required.
